Pippali

I didn't eat much today... Just the one meal when I left the house at 7pm. 

I met some of the soup kitchen people to celebrate the 6th anniversary & wish each other well before we all go on our vacations for the holiday season.

We went to Pippali, a new Indian restaurant by the chef from Tamarind.

It was delicious food and fun to see people outside of the kitchen.

We shared appetizers and each ordered our own desserts and mains, that we ended up sharing anyway.

Samosas, beet cakes of some sort, and I ordered Kalan, a dish of stewed veggies: kohlrabi, yam, banana and carrots in a coconut yogurt sauce. 

For dessert I had mango mousse.
