Duck, Duck, Napoleon

Valentines day dinner prix fixe.

Foie Gras with truffled fig preserves and toast. Awesome dish. The man at the next table licked his fig preserve bowl, with his tongue. Incredibly delicious... But so tragic for public behavior. Comedic for me though.

Canard L'orange with cauliflower gratin and spinach. Perfectly cooked duck, tasty sides. So full. I took some home to make sure dessert made it into play.

Napoleon was delicious layers of pastry cream, flakey pastry and fresh fruit and a side of chocolate gelato. Quite refreshing after a rich meal.

Pomme d'amor was a speciality cocktail including calvados (apple brandy) apple purred, cinnamon syrup over ice. Tasted a bit watered down to me. But what do I know?
