Dinner through the Decades

Dinner created with the last 10 decades in mind honoring 100 years of vanity fair.

The food was created by the Gramercy Tavern chef and his new pastry chef. 

They had 4 passed apps, our favorite was the deviled egg with trout cream and caviar inspired by the 20s.

Then chilled carrot soup with smoked salmon, roe, pineapple, hearts of palm and herbs inspired by the 50s.

Chicken breast and thigh with smashed fingerling potatoes, Swiss chard and kale salad inspired by the 70s.

Veggies with goldleaf, a random family style portion that was tiny and not easy to share.

A chocolate martini with ultimat vodka, guitars 55% chocolate and vanilla inspired by the 90s.

Strawberry fields, a strawberry and cream dessert inspired by the 60s. 

Great space. Awesome company. And a good meal.
