NoMad Brunch

Shaina & Matt are in town from Boston. They suggested lunch at NoMad. The restaurant in the hotel of the same name in the Flatiron district.

They are James Beard nominated for their drink program and the chicken sandwich comes highly recommended, obviously with braided brioche, black truffle and foie gras! It was served with a bitter salad of radicchio and chicken skin. We also shared the pastry plate to start, with a green tea coated croissant, a plain croissant, a Boston cream croissant, a cherry cream cheese pastry, and cinnamon toast. I also had a basil and fennel soda.

Wonderful meal!
