Bun Hue Bo

We went for ramen. The place was closed. We went for Japanese BBQ. The place was closed. We went for katsu. The place was closed. Note to self, don't go to lunch at 3PM... A) that's way too late for lunch, blood sugar wise; and B) a lot of the Asian restaurants close between 2 or 3 and 5:30 to prepare for dinner service.

We went to Obao. A staple for us, but I tried something new today. Bun hue bo. Similar to pho, with the bean sprouts, basil and lime, but rather than anise, beef and oxtail based, it's a delicious spicy, tamarind and lemon grass based soup with pork.

Plus the included appetizer of the day, some tofu today. And of course, a Thai iced tea.
