So much eating... Between thanksgiving, buffet and fondue I am skipping dinner. But only after a small plate of free appetizers!

Melting Pot
My sister often eats at the melting pot in Colorado, but I haven't ever had such an experience.
Shawn and I did the 4 course prix fixe.
We started with the Wisconsin cheese, then had fish and shrimp cooked in a veggie broth, and the original chocolate, which included peanut butter swirled into the chocolate.
Hotel Breakfast
So many nights in a hotel this month. Fruit, cereal, yogurt... Dry muffin that I only eat the top of because it's dry. Melon, raisin bran and peach yoplait, and a chocolate chip muffin[top].

Waterfront Buffet
It's been a few hours since dinner and I'm still incredibly full.
Crab legs and lobster max and cheese were my favorites. Clam chowder on the second round along with a hodge podge including some veggies. Then dessert, strawberry ice cream, lemon meringue and coconut tarts, bread pudding with bananas foster, a cookie and cheesecake.
Oh, almost forgot, some snacks at the hotel's appetizer station on the club level. Seasame chicken, egg rolls, and veggies with ranch dip.
So full!
Tropicana Palm
Our first stop in Atlantic City was to the tropicana hotel we got some food and played some penny slots.
I shared French onion soup & a wedge salad with Shawn... Plus had some seared ahi tuna with a bit of seaweed and a lot of wasabi. Plus, some pickled cucumber, green tomato and radish to start the meal.
In Car Breakfast
I packed up the leftover pies and some other snacks for the drive out to AC.
Jonathan and I split a pie and had some beef jerky... Just to carry through to lunch.

Burger Day
Scott chose Stagshead today for lunch. I normally have a turkey burger, but opted for beef, I can wait for turkey tomorrow!
I treated myself to a pumpkin spice latte, so I wasn't very hungry, but glad I ate since I didn't manage to have dinner throughout all of the cooking, though I guess I did taste a bit of everything for flavor's sake.

MidPrep Pasta
I was in the middle of preparing for Thanksgiving and needed to make something to eat.
I made a quick pasta from the last two spicy Italian sausages and a can of tomatoes. Doctored the sauce up with some onions, herbs, balsamic vinegar and worchestshire sauce.
Then steamed some broccoli with simple salt and pepper. I waited on Jonathan to eat, he added a few handfuls of shredded Italian cheeses.
Second Lunch
Since my 1pm meeting was canceled I was able to join Scott, Stephen and Bernard for Japanese Upstairs.
My bagel was pretty filling but I made room for a seaweed salad and a pork bun while the other guys ate their lunches.
Breakfast for Lunch
Dan and I went to grab lunch at 11:30 in preparation to head uptown for a 1:00 meeting that ended up not happening.
We went to Ess a bagel & I has a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with walnut raisin cream cheese. Normally I go with everything and an savory cream cheese, but Dan and I discussed not having stinky breath to meet with the dean of research.

Forgotten Sauces
I stayed out sick from work today, so I didn't eat much.
Tom came to stay for a few days, so we split an Indian meal combo. Samosas, chicken tikka masala, rice, and naan. Plus it should come with raita and chutneys, but they forgot all of the sauces! So disappointing... But still delicious.

Dinners with Friends in LA
Lauren and I met up with Champie and Daniel and their girlfriends, Christina and Melyssa for happy hour. It included a bacon jalapeño grilled cheese and a beverage. Lauren and I split the sandwich & I totally failed to photograph my last beer of California. Haha!
Then Lauren and I went downtown to see Courtney & I had a kale salad, and a few slices of pretzel roll. I figured I should eat more than half a sandwich and a handful of fries before getting on the plane.
L.A. Rose
Lauren and I met auntie Vivianne for lunch at L.A. Rose & uncle Lem hooked us up with an awesome meal.
Lauren and I split pancit and Kare Kare. So much food. So full. But still made room for white chocolate cheesecake!
Had a "Juan de la Cruz" to drink... Like an Arnold Palmer but with clamansi rather than lemonade.
Berry Breakfast
Just a bowl of leftover berries from last night's dessert. Eating light in preparation for a big Filipino meal at uncle Lem's restaurant.

Salmon Curry Dinner Party
Lauren always asks for Thai coconut curry when I am around to cook for her. We got salmon to go with the veggies that they had in the fridge. Butternut squash, peppers, zucchini, carrots, and a bit of shredded coconut on too. Plus Trader Joe's brown rice medley.
Fish Tacos at the Sawdust
Cathy bought me fish tacos while we were together at the Sawdust Winter Fantasy show. I used one of each hot sauce... The green one ended up being habanero not salsa verde. It made me cry... Yikes!
Pumpkin Pancakes
It's the season if fun festive foods. Cathy set out pumpkin pancake mix from Trader Joe's along with some precooked breakfast sausage links and eggs that I scrambled quickly after the pancakes were cooked.

Pig Ears and Bone Marrow
Before the Lakers game, we has small plates at Bacaro LA.
I went with my usual "order the weirdest stuff on the menu" approach. Has crispy pig ears and bone marrow along with tne Mac 'n Cheese.
Marmalade Cafe
Had lunch at the Grove at the Marmalde Cafe. Soup & salad... Tomato Bisque & a Beet and Gorganzola Salad. Plus a bread basket.

Spicy Shrimp Tacos
I am in LA tonight & though the weekend.
Kicked it off with Mexican food for dinner with Lauren and Courtney. Courtney told me the places was known for spicy shrimp tacos, so it made for an easy menu decision. Plus... More guacamole.
In-N-Out First Timers
Scott and Mohammad tried In-N-Out for the first time today. Always fun to introduce new people to my childhood tastes.
We, including Dan, all had double doubles, fries and shakes. Jac tried & loved Pick Up Stix.
Last Buffet
Breakfast was not great. They ran out of food and what was there was poorer quality than usual.
I ate fruit and a bagel ... Couldn't choke down the eggs.
Fortunately at the break they put out raspberry filled donut holes.

La Puerta
One of the vendors supplied a bus to our choice of the Gaslamp District or to Old Town San Diego.
We chose the Gaslamp and went to La Puerta for dinner. I had a wet pastor burrito, with both red and green sauce. We also has guacamole for the table. So much good Mexican food!
