Is Everything $4.25?

We picked Jac up from the airport and went to El Indio for dinner. A woman at the front suggested the shrimp enchilada special. Jac looked at me and asked, "does that say $4.25?" We aren't used to inexpensive Mexican food on the east coast.

I got a carne asada burrito with guacamole and salsa fresca. Jac bought chips and salsa for the table along with her enchiladas. 

We went down to Mission Beach to visit Tom at the Coaster Saloon, ordered some Angry Orchard Hard Cider (I had 2) and were sitting watching the other patrons. A man ordered a Jack and Coke. Tom handed it to him & said, "$4.25". Jac looked at me, complete look of shock on her face, and asked, "is everything $4.25??!"

We're not in Manhattan anymore...
