I made a sausage and peppers frittata. I started with two hot links, cooked them off and used the grease to cook half a chopped onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and a finely chopped jalapeño. Then added half a sweet orange bell pepper and sautéed it all together. Separately I beat 6 eggs with some buttermilk, salt and pepper. Cooked it on the stove top and baked it off in the oven and topped it with shredded cheese.
I also made some baked tomatoes. I sliced heirloom tomatoes into thirds and baked them with olive oil, salt and pepper. About half of them I topped with a mixture of grated parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Jonathan koined me for the meal we both scarfed it down so quickly that we needed seconds before the first commercial break of our show.
